By enrolling in classes at Chorós Dance Academy, you (or your parent/guardian if under 18) agree to the following Terms & Conditions:


1. Bookings & Payments

  • Chorós Dance Academy offers both pay-as-you-go and monthly payment options.
  • Monthly Payments:
  • Fees are due in advance, at the moment of booking online.
  • Refunds are only available if you provide a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice before the start of the session you wish to cancel.
  • Pay-As-You-Go Classes:
  • Payment can be made online in advance or on arrival.
  • Free Trial:
  • Each new student is entitled to one free trial class.

2. Missed Classes & Cancellations

  • Each student is entitled to one class credit per term for a missed class, provided notice is given in advance.
  • If Chorós Dance Academy cancels a class:
  • We will offer a rescheduled session wherever possible.
  • Refunds are only issued if 2 weeks’ notice is given or a reschedule cannot be offered.

3. Health, Safety & Liability

  • Dance is a physical activity and, while every care is taken to ensure students’ safety, participation is at the student’s own risk.
  • Chorós Dance Academy and its instructors are not liable for injuries sustained during classes, rehearsals, performances, or events, except where negligence can be proven.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for their children before and after classes. The academy accepts responsibility for students only during class time.
  • Students and parents must inform the academy of any medical conditions, injuries, or additional needs that may affect participation.

4. Dress Code & Behaviour

  • Dress Code:
  • Students should wear appropriate dancewear — black is preferred.
  • No jewellery is to be worn during class.
  • Hair must be tied back where possible.
  • Behaviour:
  • All students are expected to behave in a respectful, courteous, and positive manner towards instructors and fellow students.
  • Disruptive, inappropriate, or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from class or, in serious cases, termination of enrolment without refund.

5. Photography & Media

  • Photographs and/or video recordings may be taken during classes, showcases, and events for marketing and promotional purposes.
  • By enrolling, students (or their parent/guardian if under 18) acknowledge and accept this.
  • Consent for photo/video usage is collected separately at the point of booking.

6. Data Protection (GDPR Compliance)

  • Chorós Dance Academy collects and securely stores personal information such as names, contact details, emergency contacts, and medical information for the purposes of:
  • Class administration
  • Emergency safety
  • Providing updates and communication about classes and events
  • Personal data is stored securely and will never be shared with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.
  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us directly.

7. Agreement

By booking classes, workshops, or events with Chorós Dance Academy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
